Changing Money

Anybody know where to get the best rate on changing Riyals to Dollars? Bank is a little higher than official rate. I don't have bank account here so guess that's why. Thanks.

Their rate is 3.645 I think and it is near Banking street.

Al Sadd Street has several money changers. Go to Al Sadd Exchange (across from Q-Tel). They buy at 3.64 and sell at 3.65.

if you don't have account the bank charges a bout a dirham more. I have about $9K to change which isn't a great deal differnet but $50 is $50.

i thought riyal to the dollar is pegged? 1 usd dollar = 3,65 Qatari Riyal?
