my friend, but I was the one who take the backup of her data because they could not do anything for her :) in addition to restoring her data [they told her the Hard Drive is not usable at all, damaged]

I asked her to buy an External Hard Drive encloser and now she got it :)

Doesn't sound like the guys at Al Manaa are all that reliable if they couldn't figure out it was software related rather than hardware, but at least they saved all the data, if they could do that with my ipod I would be fairly happy. I understand what your saying, I have just bought a external drive so maybe that would be able to transfer the songs to that.

you can take it to Al Manaa guys in Al Rayyn Street [not Rayyan area, it is near electricity street and Hamra Resturant]. They are the distributors here. Hope that they can help, a friend of mine was having a trouble with her MAC Laptop Hard disk, they told her nothing can be done, replaced the old one and install a new one. The problem was only in the OSX System Volume, it was corrupted. Regardless of that I were able to retrieve all of her data there, format this Hard Disk and change it into an External Hard Disk too. You know what I mean here, right?
