There is a large sandstone rock there that has been officially recognised by the Norwegan government as the hammer-head of the war hammer of the Nordic God of thunder, Thor.
Legend has it that he dropped it from the heavens during a fight with some other bloke.
the dunes pic u probably might find some where around.
but those one the west side there are no pic for them. i need to go and take few snaps.
about 80km from here to dukhan than from dukhan take left towards salwa road 30km.total 110km from doha. dunes are about 45km i think towards south from doha.

about 80km from here to dukhan than from dukhan take left towards salwa road 30km.total 110km from doha. dunes are about 45km i think towards south from doha.

not that big huge kinda hills but easy to be climbed hmm say about 65meters maxi.
