Does anyone know how is Salwa Gardens ? my company is providing residence here.. i heard it is near the doha college.. any input on the area, the surroundings, pics maybe ? many tx !

Nice location. Right off Al Waab. Near 2 large malls like King Edshel said. Also near Aspire and Khalifa Stadium. They're building a huge park right there too. Lake, fountain, walking paths...Yes, near Doha College. Al Waab is busy though, hopefully, you'll be on the backside.
Despite the fact tht this place is old, it is a nice place. You are close to Giants stores, Villagio and next to you there is a Gas Station that good DVDs rental shop and Baskin Robbins if you are a fan. Al Merqab street also is not that far.
There is nothing to worry about, wish you a nice living there.
It's I believe one of the oldest compounds in Doha. We used to know people who live there. It's a sprawling compound. Sorry, no pictures but the people I knew who lived there were quite happy.
