Me and my husband will arrive early saturday morning for the first time in Doha. We are from Sweden and I´m a bit unsure what to ware. A limo is waiting to take us to Mariott.

Is it ok to ware jeans whith a dressed feminin shirt,

Hey Guys,

I am malayisan. I will be arriving in qatar in May 2007. I have got a job offer in qatar. In the contract they have stated that the accomodation is twin sharing. I am not very sure how true is this it. I am heard from my friemds that there are situation where 15 in a big room. I would appreciate if anyone could provide me information pertaining to the question as I need to clear my curiosity and salary of 6,000 is it enough for a single guy.

Its getting warmer, so a light shirt or tshirt is advisable.

Dont forget a jacket though, I freeze in the shopping centres and taxi's.

I am from the UK and I can say that its fine, just dont go out in tiny skirts and cleavage tops, only because you will get stared at sometimes, but you will get used to what to wear but shirts, tshirts, jeans, skirts etc are all fine, dont worry you can really wear what you like.

Absolutely. Don't worry about anything. This is not Saudi Arabia. Qataris dress their national clothes, we dress the way we are used to and everyone is happy :)
