Radio controlled car/truck club
Does anyone know of a club or a group that hosts events or get togethers involving radio controlled cars/trucks? my coworker and I both have RC's and think it would be quite a blast is there were some type of get together or something, maybe down at the sealine tearing up the dunes or whatever. Or better yet.. if there were actually a track in doha... now that would be a blast!
can anyone shed any light on the subject?

The shop you are refering to is called The Pro Hobbies. The shop has changed management and is now smaller than it used to be, but still in the same location. The whole filipino gang is not there anymore. I am not sure if they are still doing servicing. There is also a shop in city center called Hoby Center, located at the top level, near the childern rides arena. They can help you out. But I think speed marine are the best of the bunch as they have all the parts you mey need, and the guys know what they are doing.
Hello i have a savage x and i want to give it for servicing. there was a shop on salwa road, not spped marine but another one, its runned by a fillipino i think. Does any one no some contact info or their present location. THANK YOU!!

Yes i also want to know if where to get in touch with those rc guys. I have both nitro and electric truck but im just running it in our backyard, i want to join such organized races.

I'm sure there is one such club. I'd read a newspaper report on Gulf Times a few months back. Maybe you could search their website for the article. I recall reading about a couple of hobby shops catering to RC enthusiasts.
