qatar follows tha american schedule ,which is almost teh same as Uk schedule for immuniazation and here you have the advatage of geting some vaccines free which is not free even in Uk and US imunization schedules. you get all necessery items here.

Like Han said just bring your baby's current immunization record and you can stay up-to-date once you get here and get a pediatrician.

I wouldn't worry about bringing all that baby gear with you. Unless you have a stroller you are already using and will need in the airport anyway, bring that. Lack of variety is the biggest downer.

Just buy those here ... you can order it from the catalogue. MOthercare shops assistant very helpfull. You might pay a bit more, but save all the hassle sending it here.

the hospitals do have a baby immunisation programme.

small clinics also have the immunisation schedule.

for babaies born here we are given a card that needs to be updated everytime we go to the immunisation centres.

what you could do is get the recent immunisation history of your baby along with you and the hospital will do the needful.

all the stuff you have mentioned is available here...but they lack in variety.i have seen better cots and stroller online or in catalogues than in the baby shops here.even places like mothercare have a full catalogue...but if you ask for something specific from the catalogue its not available.

but then again you do get quality product...its just that it may not suit your taste....since we as parents like the best for our babies.

i hope someone else will provide more feedback regarding getting the stuff here.there are many expat mommies here who have better experience in this than me.

i am sure they will help out.
