Hi my husband is already in Doha, I come with the kids soon for vacation (we don't have yet the resident visa.........),can anyone tell me more about this compound ( how far is it from city center, american schools, Carrefour?) Does anyone live there?
hi, i live in a compound at gharrafa area, its full of compounds, dont really know where gharrafa compound ,if thats the name, is, i just can tell u that u need about 20 min to get to city center in a normal day but if there is traffic u'll probably need 30 min, coz u have to take khalifa street wich is full of round abouts, and i think u need the same time to get to the american schools. there is a carrefour in city center but also u can go to carrefour at villagio, less crowded, another mall it will take less time with u from gharrafa about 15 min coz there is not much traffic on this road usually..welcome to doha
