KUWAIT CITY: A runaway Philippine maid in Kuwait was abducted and gang-raped by 17 men in desert camps, a newspaper reported yesterday, adding that 14 suspects were in custody. Four men found the Filipina after she fled her employer’s house and took her to a desert camp where they raped her, the Al-Watan daily said citing a security source. They then offered the maid to six of their friends who raped her at a second camp before delivering her to seven others who gang-raped her at a third camp. She was taken to hospital by Philippine consular officials, the paper said. The embassy was not immediately available for comment. Police have detained 14 suspects so far - 13 Kuwaitis and one Iraqi, Al-Watan said. A manhunt is continuing for three other Kuwaitis. – AFP how can someone do such a thing? are these men crazy? |
These people are desperate, evil, maniacs, or under influence of drugs, they think what they did is fun. lucky for her they kept her alive so she can get justice!

absolutely atrocious behaviour rite... sometimes I really feel for crimes such as these the term 'an eye for an eye' is very appropriate... but hey, having said that if we literally get to doing it, finally the whole world would get blind.
Then again, it is unwise to pass judgement before you know the whole story. My rather emotional response is valid as long as the case is indeed as presented. I can think of a couple of scenarios where I'd have other things to say, though...

No... not crazy. 'Crazy' is a convenient way out of responsibility for one's actions. They are cruel, insensitive to human suffering, delighting in causing pain and humiliation, refusing to recognize the other person's right to any dignity, choice, or opinion; that is, generally evil.
I'm sorry to say this but actually a lot of people are like that and the only thing that's stopping them from actually doing monstrous things is the fear that they will be caught and punished. These men probably hoped to frighten their victim into keeping her mouth shut, her being a runaway and all...
