Work as a Doctor In Qatar
By scottandlisa •
Hi,
I am being posted to Qatar in Feb 07 (found out last week!) and will be accompanyed by my wife. She is an Emergency Medicine Consultant (Fellow of the Australian College of Emergency Medicine). Wondering if anyone has any advice on opportunities, challenges, tips and traps or any ideas of sources of information.
As you can imagine, we are under the pump given short timings. We will be in Qatar for 2 years. Cheers Scott and Lisa
I gues hamad is free of charge if you take a card from your near PHC after paying 100 QR , you need your RP for getting that. then you can go and get an appoinment and goi for it-its very crouded so i guess should go only with appoinment.
i guess the best endocrinologist is available at HAMAD only- i have heard of one Dr mohd zaryond- i think thats the correct spelling- i dont know him personally but i have heard hes good.i have seen him treating kids and as far as i know hes not in just pediatrics and he sees adult pateints also.
send her CV ,righ now the best place for emergency medicne consultant is hamad and then private it will be Al ahli hospital , both will like western qualifies docs. i can help u if u send her CV to me at Al ahli.
please email me as I work at HMC- I can point you in the right direction!
