Does anyone know of a sports shop that specialises in Running shoes etc,

Your best bet would be Brentano Shoes in Landmark Mall. The have huge selection of sports shoes.

Well , I am not to sure as i try to shop as little as possible in Doha. Have just ordered from www.roadrunnersports.com . You may want to try that, otherwise, will have a look around for you this weekend and report back....

I had a look at the nike and addidas stores and their range of footwear seemed to lean more to the fashion side of things. There were only a couple of pairs of trainers I would have put on my feet prior to running. Do you know where I can get Asics or Saucony as I would prefer to wear them?

So are you after Cheap shoes Then???? NIKE, Asics, Saucony etc are perhaps the best running shoes that you will find anywhere in the world. They just happen to be popular! Anthing less you are training to injure yourself.
