Business Developer seeks Business to Develop

Hi All,
I'm currently looking for work in Qatar as a Business Development Director/Manager or potentialy another sales and marketing related role. I've recently moved to Qatar from the UK and don't speak the local language as yet, but am hoping to find work in a corporate environment where English will be sufficient to operate.
I'm not tied to any particular industry, although historically I've fulfilled these kind of roles in IT/Telecommunications and also the Business Support Services industries. I'm just looking for something to catch the eye, I believe construction is big in Qatar atm but would like some info. on what's moving and shaking. If anyone can give me any advice or point me in the right direction to get started that would be great and much appreciated.
