Hi, We are Taiwan based Media Institute. I am coming to Qatar next week and like to know good places to eat and stay. Also I am looking for an apartment for our media crew closer to Asian Games Main Office. Also is there any other office where I can get more information about the Asian Games.

How about the other infrastructure parellel to AG such as telecom, IT etc., What's happening in the transport sector. What will be the status of Volunteers? How about the security.
About the rent I did googling and found couple of good vilas. But the problem is they are only interested in one year contract.
Could not say if they are on agenda the stadiums seem like they are finished the main concern i would have is the roads to all be finished!
Yeah you could ask for the report but i don't think you would have it any time soon and the last thing they are going to do is admit they are running behind!
Another thing is you WILL NOT be able to get a hotel if you have not booked already for the games!

About the AG information, what I am looking for is progress of whole event including construction and facilities etc., People's opinion. Any survey results related to AG impact on Qatar etc.,
I guesss the official status report I could ask from the AG office. But it will not cover the above areas.
Hi, to stay if you have the bedget go to the ritz eating look through the threads Qatari posted a thread about the best places to eat!
Good luck on the apartment as i have been looking for months for somewhere for our staff i have only just found something just waiting for it to be final! Also make sure your bedget can cover an upto 120,000 for a villa and upto 55,000qr for an apartment over games time!
