Diabetic Children

We are hoping to move out to Qatar later this year following a recent job offer. One of our children is diabetic and we are a little concerned about how good the health care provision is in Qatar.

Can any one let us know what access to doctors and medicine is like and how expesive it is. If any one has experiance of coping with a diabetic child in Qatar we'd love to hear from you

I work next door to the diabetes association which is run and funded by Qatar Foundation, which is good. I also taught a yound girl who is severly diabetic and she was able to get excellent treatment. So it is here, and it is good, but as for costs I can't tell you, sorry.
