Regarding ECR for mother's visit

I am working in Qatar as an engineer and have ECNR on my passport. Now my mother is coming to Qatar on visit visa. As she is uneducated, there is ECR on her passport. Is there any issue regarding ECR if she travels from Chennai airport to Qatar on visit visa? I heard that Chennai emigration people are asking for other documents like sponsorship declaration. Is it?
I am very thankful if I get reply at the earliest.

Hi,

I have also the same problem.

My mom is also coming from chennai and she is having ECR in her passport. When I checked in ICC, they advised me to get sponsorship declaration from Indian embassy in Doha.

ECR system is totally cancelled from the passport so don't worry about that only she required valid passport, visit visa and return ticket hope she will get in Qatar without any difficulties

There wont be any problem. But she need to have confirmed returned ticket with her.
