I am finally coming to Doha! Questions...Can I use Netflix and Skype in Qatar? Also I have been told that cell phones are much more affordable in Qatar then in the US. Is that true for iPhones? Can you buy new phones without a contract? What is the best way to text or call the states for Doha?

No problem on netflix and skype and yes you can buy an iphone without a contract here and use it on any of the two networks.

The only thing we worry about is the Americans bombing us, because they got bored with Syria and Iran.

Skype is allow in Qatar + free call to state.
