b12 deficiency
By b12 deficient •
Hi,
I was wondering if anyone here has experience with dealing with a Vitamin B12 deficiency in Doha? Could anyone recommend a good doctor to go to who knows the right treatment for this? After having very low B12 levels I got several injections, which made my B12 levels go up. However, because of this my doctor stopped the treatment and all the symptoms are coming back. I would like to get a second opinion but I am not sure where to go.
Thanks!
Thanks for your messages, I'll give it a try
(+974) 4439 4444 this is the number of the admin(Hamad), the only number someone's picking up. Just give it a try.
I have been to Al Ahli but not Hamad.
Pls visit Hamad Emergency/Womens Hospital and tell them your problem. They will then give you a referral to which department your problem has to be treated. (eg. Rumailah Hospital for Derma & Venereology).
People here in QL (mostly) are not happy to just comment regarding the topic, they would really find a way to be either rude or sarcastic.
Please read before you make such a comment!
I'm not asking for medical advice, I'm simply looking for someone who has dealt with the same deficiency in Doha, and who can recommend a doctor to go to.
have you tried hamad yet?
I guess the problem with you is you are not able to absorb and use B12 from natural sources. Suppliments may work only for the time you are taking them.
Why don't you look for alternative treatment methods that would address the root cause and thus enable you to absorb, use / retain B12 like other healthy individuals.
