.. Ventilating jacket helps wearers keep cool ..

Dressing up to cool down?

It may seem counterintuitive, but that is the idea of a
German professor. Wilhelm Stork, a systems engineer at the Karlsruhe Instituteof Technology (KIT), has invented a 200-gram air-conditioned jacket that keeps its wearer cool on hot days and during heavy physical exertion.

Air circulating in the jacket’s ventilation ducts facilitates the evaporation of perspiration, which
lowers body temperature.

The prototype of the KlimaJack, as the garment is called, resembles a bulletproof vest.

Hello QLers, This product may be useful in our surroundings as well ... MM.

Well i do not know of this jacket , but from the write up it is evident that this jacket will have no good effect in a place where HUMIDITY is high(80%+) as the evapuration of perspiration will not really happen when RH is high. This may be usefull only where the weather conditions are DRY and RH below 30%
