Everyone expects a gift from anyone coming from abroad; it can be just simple as a chocolate, perfume or electronics. Doesn't matter it makes everyone feel happy.
This time I am really confused about what to buy from Doha as a gift?
I want a gift that will remind Doha in future. So I take a walk in Souq and visit some local shops and make a list of the gift ideas in Qatar.
I love coffee table books. If you are planning to buy a gift for someone having an office just go with this. There are different kinds of hardback books which have amazing pictures of Doha and will be a perfect gift.
I love dates and think that they are a perfect gift that will suit for everyone. I don’t mean to go to a Carrefour or a supermarket and juts buy the packed ones. There are very nice, elegant stores that they made amazing fruitful, chocolate or just plain dates. I will advise you to visit Bateel which is located in City Centre Shopping Mall. They make a nice package and you can choose different kind of dates. They are really tasty.
Arabic coffee for coffee lovers will be a good gift idea. However I am not a fan of the aroma and the herbs used in Arabic Coffee but it depends from person to person. Sometimes it is good to try something new.
When I was living in Oman, I was a big fan of Omani Halwa. You can find it from local shops.
I have bought a black guttra and a colorful one and always combine with my jeans and use it to cover my shoulders while shopping in shopping malls like a freezer.
Henna with design stickers. I bought five pieces of stickers that will help you to make nice designed henna tattoos on your own. You just remove the stickers and place it on your hand, arm your foot.
