Ask for no allowance but a IBHK flat @ Ezdan paid by company. Don't get entangled to all those real-estate formalities, which will make you run heather & thither if the company does not make salaries due to financial issues timely, leave it all to the company.

Paulo , you can not ask more than 100 % of your housing allowance since you got newly married , I'll get married too in second time around if that is the case. Its kind enough if a company like yours to grant, so its my advice that you will not be expecting too much.

Paulo discreetly try to ask your colleagues first so that you'll have an idea as to how much it is.. not like this it may sound like little too obvious.. and for somehow this post may get in to your boss knowledge it may send the wrong message.. furthermore, wait until you've seen the paper for your change in status. There you'll see how much is really added before you ask him if your satisfied with it then fine if not then you can ask.

As per gov rule, your family should be with you here, to get married house allowance, or either you will get as singel.

Normaly for gov , singel getting QR 2500 , married QR 4000

but some companies has it is own rule.

What is your company name, may i can tell you

All the best
