Korean Cultural Center Launches in Doha
A newly opened South Korean cultural center, named Sarang Plus, will start operating in September. The center, run by Jaehoon Hong and wife Jiwon An, will offer a range of classes such as Korean cooking, traditional and contemporary music, language, and taekwondo taught by a Korean coach from the Qatar Armed Forces.
In addition, the center will be hosting a cultural exchange program whereby 12 Korean college students will be coming to Qatar from the 7th to the 17th of August. On the occasion of their advent, there will be "Korea Night," featuring dance and taekwondo performances.
The center is located near the Doha Exhibition Center in Dafna.
