CORAL Hotel .. rotten food !!!!!!!!!!
last Friday we went to Coral hotel to try their buffet at Al-Jasmine restaurant, a decent waiter welcomed us and showed us the buffet and apologized it was the indian night, honestly we were starving, after picking up our plates we discovered 7 main courses available, 1 roasted chicken, 1 fried fish, the rest pasta and rice, when we asked where's the buffet items we were told that they wasn't supposed to have guests other than the INDIANS !!!! and that's why the buffet sucks, and the great disaster is one of the pastas was broken, it smelled, when complaining to the manager he apologized and told us its the first time..
this could be the worst buffet ever I went to my whole life, I never expected to experience such a thing here at Doha and with 100 QR a person .. it was a real comic movie happening, we called the duty manager who spoke, apologizes, then spoke again with no offer to compensate what you just experience..
the reason I am exposing this. is that after this horrible experience I found a sales rep. selling coupons for this same hotel with 99 QR at the street, and I wanted to warn as much people as I could, as this night could have ended at the hospital ..
Not even worth 50QR .......as it buy one get one free
ponderosa FTW!
Well, I went there once
One Friday i don't remember when exactly, maybe month Ago
There were no Indian Foods (And i don't mean to underestimate of their Dishes)
The buffet was Ok, Doesn't worth 100 QR, but still not that bad, i somehow liked the appetizers, the main dish was Good, and the Desserts were not good enough.
Does it worth 100 QR No, Will i go again Yes if it was for 50 QR.
Anyway if you are into buffet Go to Ponderosa, they are much better and you will pay about 50 QR and If you ordered any of their dishes you will Automatically Use the buffet for FREE.
you could have have complained to consumer affairs dept.
lol.. sorry to hear about your experience, next time when you go to a similar place, think twice before proceeding, even if you are starving!
So you are saying Indians accept substandard?
yes I met some salesmen offering this type of coupons wherein there's a lot of freebies in it!
Well, we all know that things in Qatar are very expensive. so...if and when they are cheap, as in this case, you can expect them to be inferior.
Not that this justifies what you experienced...but unfortunately this is reality.
