It is the responsibility of your would be employer to provide you with joining ticket and return as well. Being a westerner, you must negotiate for the following which normally is given to westerners like you:
1) Vacation tickets every six months (some others every four months).
2) Family status if you are married.
3) Education expenses for at least 2 child if you are married.
4) Being into recruitment I have not heard of any company that provides 1 month advance salary. But the start of work should start on the day of departure from your country of origin and joining and return ticket should be your nearest airport.
