- The Best Actor Awards goes to - Mr. Atom
Scientists have taken the idea of a film short down to new levels. Molecular levels.
IBM said it has made the tiniest stop-motion movie ever - a one-minute video of individual carbon monoxide molecules repeatedly rearranged to show a boy dancing, throwing a ball and bouncing on a trampoline.
Thelonius ,, yes i understand and i agree
but it wasn't about this at all that's what we call Hijacking ,so you could post a new thread to talk about it ,, that's what i mean :)
Now i am really Hijacking ,,, Sorry OP
Atom comes in physics or chemistry...:)
I love your way of Objection on everything
You were the one who Hi-jacked First :O)
Am I in World's Smallest Movie Thread , or i made it by mistake to The chemistry session :O(
TFS LLR
Regardless If it was Atom or A Compound :O)
Agree but they look like dots in this picture cuz you are looking at them with bare eyes. You gotta experience them under this conditions "Each frame measures 45 by 25 nanometres there are 25 million nanometres in an inch but hugely magnified.".
2 different things..interesting..what is that
No it is not nonsense. If you read the article The dots that make up the figures in the movie are the oxygen atoms in the molecule, Mr. Heinrich said.
And if you even look closure the short film is based on Molecular levels not atomic levels.
A "carbon monoxide molecule" isn't an "Atom"! It's two atoms, one carbon and one oxygen, hence the chemical nomenclature: CO!
