do parking cameras work at night?
continuing from my yesterdays questions about car reverse parking sensors, i went opposite capitol police to the car accessory shops and FYI reverse sensors are for 250 upwards and reverse cameras are for 600 upwards (incl screen)
heres where i need your opinion (from users only ):
do reverse cameras work at night? i mean there is no beep just video and its dark
and people who have used reverse camera and sensors - which system do you prefer
yes it will perfectly work as those cameras designed for day and evening capabilities.
but dont completely rely on it, better to depend on your own skills.
Forget about the camera for now. First check if the Reverse lights at the back of your car works fine when you change the gear to Reverse. If this works your problem is solved.
well explained by translator :)
When you switch gears to R reverse, a bright white light turns on from back of the car. That was designed to make it easier to see in the dark. The camera will work fine with that amount of light.
The car I rented had a rare camera and it worked fine at night. It was one of those brand new Ford Explorers.
