The employer is entitled to deduct from the service gratuity the amount due to him by the worker.
in fact since your second service period was less than one year, they might deduct many fees/ticket: a unilateral interruption of more than 2 months, considers the contract void, and is considered a non continuous working lenght. don't have the time nor the will to back up what i just said, but it is the truth.
but no one stops them from being generous and include the old years.
I stayed more than 80 days than my allotted leave last time. The company asked me explanation and gave a letter stating that this will be taken as a service break and they induced me back in the service. Now that I resigned after a stint of another year, will I get the end of service benefits for the whole tenure or only from the date that I resumed after the service break ???

crispycrisp is totally right. your sponsor can legally eliminate your end of service gratuity altoghether:
Article 61
The employer may dismiss the worker without notice and without payment of the end of service gratuity in the following instances:

As i know i week without any notice, after that the company has right to take any action.
