Does have a clinic but it is only in operation two days of the week.
The procedure is safe and approved by the government of Qatar, and the lady therapist is fully qualified and a very professional.
The amount of cups used will vary according to your specific ailment from what I know, and of course depending on whether you are going in for wet or dry cupping. That again will be upto the therapist to decide.
Personally I know first hand people who were cured of certain chronic ailments following proper and regular therapy, including my husband(he got cupped at the souq waqif place by the male therapist. Mariam center is a strictly ladies only zone!)

Sister...it should be safe....i just read that it is recommended by Prophet MuhammaD (saw)....so it is for sure safe...However make sure the person who does is actually an expert in this therapy...India has one of the best of these :)

It was something like 150-200QR. Of course that was like nearly a year back, so prices maybe different now.

There is one Hijama therapist inside souq waqif. Very professional and qualified.
The lady there is a fully qualified Hijama therapist and very very good. She is over at the center two days of the week, so you'll have to call em up. From what I remember appointments must be made in person. But call them for the dates anyways. The number is:
