Residency Expiry

Hi,
My husband's residency permit expired on the 16th March, he's staying with the same company but they're moving him to Abu Dhabi as of next week so he was advised not to renew his RP.
We have to leave the country this week so he can renew his passport, as he has no pages left, will he have problems leaving the country with an expired RP?
Will no RP affect his bank account here?
He'll be popping backwards and forwards and doesn't want there to be any issues when he returns and exits, how is it best to find all this information out?
Thanks
L
No problem at all if he doesn't want to come back on same RP...
If a RP expires, you can use it for 3 months from the expiry date, it will count as a valid RP, and it won't be a problem if you doesn't renew while moving out, but if your husband wish to come back it's better if he renew it!
