contest at the mall ?
hello all
someone approached me today when i was at the landmark Mall
asked a couple of questions (simple ones)
after answering them he told me congratulations you won a prize of fully paid 5 days trip to Athena
and come today to at we are a travel agency and we want to advertize our company .
we want you to come so u can make final arrangements like place and time of the journey.
what is this all about ?
is it fake ?
can be dangerous to go and meet them or only wast of time?

i think next time one encounters this... the best thing to do is to video record the discussion... so these culprits will find easier and free way to their holidays at the prison...

if you are willing to put up with some sales pitch for an hour, you will get some free hotel stay deal. Mind you, there are additional charges that you have to pay, but the whole thing is just not worth it.
Besides by sharing your contact details, you will be hounded for eternity by telemarketers.
Most of us have already bitten by them.
That could be Vacation Int'l. Don't go for anything like that. They will be eagerly waiting for their prey.
How are these scams not illegal??
And they can only be in the malls carrying this stuff out with the consent of the mall's management. Even if it's not illegal, I wish that the management of the mall would show some ethics and stop allowing them to prey on people's gullibility.
they will invite you and say some lies to you about hotels in europe.
it's 100% fake.. not to mention that some people have even fallen for this stupid scam..
