Jeep Service in Doha

Hi All, I am driving Jeep Grand Cherokee "Extreme Sports Edition" currently. Recently, 10 days back all of sudden the Engine, Gear and Transmission fault diagnostic Light on
Dash-Board started glowing and not going off even after engine starts. I referred my Car Manual Book and found that it can happen due to Loose Petrol Tank cap or loose Air Filter Cap even. I investigated personally and found that when 10 days back I got my Jeep serviced at Tesyeer Airport Road, the service guy left one mounting clip of Air Filter opened, which I fixed. But still OBD 2 (On Dash Board) fault diagnostic light is not going off. Importantly, my Jeep is running smooth and I am not feeling any change in performance and drive. Does any one have idea, who is and where is best mechanic for Jeep in Doha? Pls. share your valuable experience and mechanic contact details. I request all who knows or who is driving Jeep. Pls. help me urgently.

Al Manna Jeep sounds like the worst dealership! I cannot even find their website. Their servers are down? No phone number?

You have a few options.

As Bubba said you can disconnect the negative terminal of the battery. This will erase all codes stored in your engine computer. If your check engine light does not come on again after that things may be ok. If it does come back then the computer is telling you there is a problem.

You can go to the Jeep Dealer (Almana). It may be a bit pricy. They should be able read the active and inactive trouble codes with repair solutions very quickly.

Your local repair garage can also read the active and inactive diagnostic trouble codes if he has an automotive scan tool to communicate with the engine control module. The down side is he may not be up to speed on your vehicle. The upside is you will have a personal and direct contact with the repairman.
