I think one should only highlight the negative when/if able to offer the way out, not just point out the blaming finger....I consider that constructive criticism….and it’s the only one acceptable by me.
What one believes is totally right,acceptable and legit to say, be it with good intentions or with nefarious motives,can knowingly or unknowingly, offend another.
So who decides then what is offensive and what is not? What will be the guidelines? Who makes the limits?
This is where I guess each person's own knowledge, tact, righteousness and moral obligation should be applied.
IMO any speech that stirs up hatred and sows discord can and should be avoided. There is after all ALWAYS a nicer way to say something.
Freedom of speach is the basic human right and right to be heard by others...if along the way someone is offended by the rational thoughts of the other...he can use back his freedom of speech in a rational way to explain his side if can he can offend the other by his reasons then soon...as long both be heard..not one should closed his ears and transgressed the other in irrational thinking... if this happens ...moral values is lost and hatred adheres...

I've been thinking about this for a long time, and I think that you have the right to express yourself in any way, hence t is a fine line.
