Blood Donation by Srilankan Community

A Blood Donation program was held in coordination with HMC (Hamad Medical Corporation) on 15.02.2013 (Fri Day) from 08.00 am to 11.00 am. This event was organized by a group of Sri Lankans, under the banner of Community Welfare Forum (CWF).

This event was attended by ladies and gents, representing all three communities of Sri Lanka; Sinhalese, Tamils & Muslims.

CWF is a volunteer group of Sri Lankans, arranging welfare activities among Sri Lankans living in Qatar.

I honestly had no idea about this organization to date.. Good job indeed. A much needed act of benefits and service for the community in a very unified manner, and an ideal way of counteracting the nefarious acts of those sowing hatred between communities!
