Qatar - National Sports Day 2013
Lots of activities have been organized for the upcoming National Sports Day, and will be held at over two dozen venues across Qatar on 12 February 2013.
Most of the activities are organized by various companies for their own staff. There are some activities which are free, although some activities will require pre-registration.
Katara Cultural Village: Outdoor basketball, table tennis, aerobics classes and cycling (bikes provided on a first-come, first-serve basis) are among the many activities on offer here, starting from 10am and running until 5pm. There will also be movie screenings in the evening.
Aspire Zone: A 3.6 km “Fun Run” around the Aspire Zone precinct, a kid-friendly Football Fan Zone and exercise classes for adults (including Zumba) are expected to draw in the crowds tomorrow.
Corniche: This will be home base for the Qatar Olympic Committee’s Sports Zone. Head here to check out a parade, fireworks, eat at a healthy food court and play football, tennis and basketball, among other things.
MIA Park: Martial arts, “human Foosball,” kids games and live performances are the main attractions here. The activities run from 9am until 7pm.

i was there it was one of the most horribly organized races i have ever been!
Last Qatar National Sports Day,I joined the QNB 3K run competition at Aspire and I won a prize. I wonder if there is the same event as last year or not?
