Qatar’s Minister of Interior and Chairman of the General Referendum Committee, HE Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, announced that 84% of the country’s eligible voters participated in the constitutional amendment vote. The new constitutional amendments were approved by 90.6% popular vote.
