Today my car got hit in the parking by another car. Driver accepted his mistake and is ready to co-operate. Can someone tell me the procedure to obtain the police report and then availing the insurence? I have full insurance. Do I go to his insurance company or mine? Thanks in advance

Oddly enough, the person whose fault it ISN'T, has to do all the work.

That is probably because if you made the responsible party do the legwork it would rarely get done.

First, if you can drive the car safely, pull off of the road and call the police to report the accident. Get the other person's info, mobile number and license plate number. IF they can go with you, go directly to the police station and file the report. Once there, if it is not your fault, you will have to pay 12 riyals for 2 stamps(silly, but you do) then take the paperwork to THEIR insurance company to get it started. They will take pictures of your car and give you another piece of paper, of which you take to the dealer who repairs your car to set up an appointment to get it fixed. Oddly enough, the person whose fault it ISN'T, has to do all the work. Best of luck!!!
