hiring an apartment

I am moving from Dubai to Doha. Can anybody advise me which is the best area to hire an apartment as I will be working in the Lusail area and admitting my kids to DPS- MIS school. I want to keep the travelling time to Lusail to maximum of half an hour.

hi friend, it also depends on what type of accommodation you are looking for. in lusail area and surroundings on the city side (Al Markhiya, Gharaffa, etc) you can find lot of renatal villas on individual or shared basis. it will work out much less than the budget you mentioned. but if you looking for fully independent rented villas in the lusail surroundings rent will be around 12k to say the least.

but if you are lookin for an 2BR apartment/flat, then you may have to look little closer to city (Al Sadd, Khalifa, Bin Mahmoud) or Al Khor area.

DPS as I know is quite far from Lusail and is on the other side of the city.

So you need to prioritise on who will travel more - you or your kids? :-)

hope this helps

In my opinion, you are really on the wrong side of town for that budget in relation to travel time unless you go to Al Khor, then your kids will have a heck of a school run!
