i got oppotunity to work at commercial bak qatar.salary is 13500.i am not married.if i want to rent a place and have food how much is the cost for that.
me and two friends will be commin soon. looking for a decent place where we all can stay.(lookin for the cheapest 01BR or 02BR for a good price) we will get transport, so was planning on going out of the city. we work in the industrial area. any suggestions ??
and would like to know how to pay for the place. we can do an advance for a month but dated cheques for 01 year ? first must get a bank account !!!
samanthlk - Go to Sri Lankan Super Market (Neth Sri Lanka)and read the notice board. You can see a lot of Ads for Accomodation (Mostly for Sri Lankans only by Sri Lankans).
You can find a good place for that amount.

There are several Sri Lankans working in Commercial bank and They are getting the same Salary. They stay on sharing basis. So you should be able to live in better conditions than what you are living in Sri Lanka at the moment .

The rentals are bit cheeper in these areas.

As far as I know CBQ appoints an agent to source candidates and Recruit directly under CBQ wing. if this is the case you will get Bonus.
Apply for 2 years no pay leave from your present co. and see how it goes with CBQ.

Accomodation Qr 1000 - 1500 sharing basis with fellow Sri Lankans.
Transport QR 500 - 700 with a private driver on sharing basis.
Food - Don't know much (1 sri lankan Rice & curry is QR 7)
Make your Own calculations.
Personally I think you should take it. Your current salary is subjected to income tax.
BTW - I didn't know Sri Lankan Banks are paying so much. time to find a Job in Sri Lanka :)

If its all inclusive...not a very good offer....but its fair enough.. CBQ gives yearly bonus ..which is a plus.
