Work Experience

Work includes generating enquiry from Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait and Oman through Travel agents and corporate bookings, Planning and executing tour packages according to the seasonal variations. Directly reporting to The Chairman and Head of Sales.
Current Duties and Responsibilities
- Regular Sales Calls in the local regions and keeping regular communication with the Travel agents thereby generating enquiries and maximizing hotel revenue
- Maintaining a dynamic communication structure within the department, within the hotels (in Kerala), Regional Sales Office (Kerala).
- Attending sales trips and workshops regionally and internationally as maybe needed.
- Ensuring all areas of the segment - contracting, allocations, materialization reports, override agreements etc are covered in the segment action plan.
- Understanding the role, allocations and materialization and makes recommendation for contracting.
- Planning and executing branding and promotions inside the budget allocated.
- Proactive in identifying new sources of business while ensuring business from existing clients are maximized. Generated Ayurveda queries from the market thereby placing the hotel name in Medical Tourism Sector.
- Worked as Sales Executive with Regency Fleets Car Rentals, Doha, Qatar (Branch of Regency group, Doha)from August 2010 to December 2011. Major role of the company in the market is Rent a Car, Leasing Car for short term and long term. Work involves exploring the Qatar market to sell the above said services.
- Worked as Sales Engineer with Geo Electricals Trading & Contracting Co. L.L.C, Sharjah) from April 2009 to July 2010. Trading & contracting Water Chillers, Air conditioning Equipments and Rental Sales.
