Description
- Advise and implement Health and Safety Environment management system in the organisation.
- Educate and train staff in managing workplace risks, and how to improve safe working practices.
- To ensure first aid facility in the site.
- To investigate and report on complaints of hazardous working conditions to the Associate Director and/or other appropriate senior staff.
- To check proper warning sign board are posted.
- To ensure fire extinguishers availability in the site.
- To coordinate registration and removal of hazardous waste.
- To increase health and safety awareness at all levels within the organization.
- Co-ordinate the safety meeting.
- To assist the Board’s Joint Occupational Health & Safety Committees.
- To provide good housekeeping all over the site.
- To train against employees Psychological hazard and keep Health and Safety Environment in the company and in work site.
- To give proper training for employees stress and tension problem.
- Hot Work Permits and monitored workers engaged in welding, cutting and grinding jobs.
- To conduct safety induction for new employees.
- To decide safe height and use of PPE while working height.
- To stop any unsafe activity which is unsafe in the construction site
- Keep record of any health and safety violations.
- Communicates effectively on matters related to safety
- Maintains good records of any communications regarding safety
- Provide solution for employee’s heat stress hazard.
- To conduct risk assessment.
- Sets a good example to others by adhering to safety and health in his personal behaviour
