JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: PUMP TECHNICIAN

Key responsibilities:

Perform following work on all types of pumps and rotating equipment such as Centrifugal Pumps, Rotary positive displacement pumps:

1. maintenance, repair and overhauling
2. installations, removals and inspections.
3. corrective, preventative or predictive maintenance work.
4. Reverse alignment

Required Qualifications:

1. Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in maintaining, installing/removal, troubleshooting, assembly & disassembly, inspecting, repairing and overhauling rotating equipment in an industrial manufacturing and maintenance environment preferably oil & gas, petrochemical and/or ship repairing areas.
2. Proven knowledge of Preventive and Predictive maintenance/repair procedure of mechanical and rotating systems and pumps.
3. Proven ability to use all precision measuring devices and perform precision alignments of rotating equipment/pump.
4. Good communication in English and team interaction skills.

Desired Qualifications:

1. Diploma in Engineering Technology/Vocational Technical Training Certificate or equivalent.
2. Successful completion of machinist/millwright apprenticeship program and Computer literacy will be added advantages.

1. Preferably 22-35 years
