DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY
- Make sure that any activity offered for inspection has an approved Shop Drawing (SD), Method of Statement (MS), Quality Control Procedure (QCP) & Inspection Test Plan (ITP).
- See to it that all site inspections are carried out vide an official Inspection & Test Request (ITR) submitted by the contractor through the proper channels.
- Regular inspection of work in progress to ensure that execution is proper and in accordance with approved methods and contract requirements.
- Inspection of delivered materials onsite.
- Maintain records of inspection, work executed etc.
- Prepare daily progress report that includes activities observed, inspections of work/materials completed, field observation and/or non-compliance.
- Witness 3rd Party inspection and laboratory/field testing when required.

CONTRACT PACKAGES
CP 18 : Main Terminal Building, and Concourse ABC USD 5Bn
- The main terminal and three concourses are being built with a steel structure using 80,000 tons of structural steel. The total built-up area of 500,000 m² will be able to handle an influx of 50 million passengers annually. To better serve their needs, the massive terminal will include 43 passenger boarding bridges, seven check-in islands with 160 check-in counters (with CUTE workstations), plus 24 CUSS stations. The Terminal building is equipped with 200,000 square meters of Terrazzo floor, 240,000 square meters of ceiling, complete stainless steel roof, 400 skylights, 350 (moving walkways, elevators and escalators), 80 plus passenger loading bridges, 4500 doors or which 868 are fire rated doors, 45000 linear meters of joint fire sealant, 420000 connection bolts. Exceptional aesthetic finishes within this airport will make it a pioneer in terms of achieving functionality with high quality finishes
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY
- Responsible for the design review and construction of projects.
- Supervision and execution of works for Installation and Commissioning of Fire Protection Systems, Plumbing, Chilled Water Pipe, HVAC.
- Supervise the installation of all Mechanical systems insuring compliance with design/shop drawings, contract specification and all relevant codes & criteria.
- Quality assurance for the Mechanical construction works to ensure compliance with contract design, specification, international codes and good installation practices;
- Supervise mechanical, drainage and plumbing works, HVAC system installation including equipment, MSD Integration and Interface with BMS Fire Protection Systems installation.
- Responsible for the preparation of IRF prior to inspection such as (Project Quality Plan, Inspection Test Plan (ITP), method of statements, approved shop drawings, approved material submittals, etc.).
- Co-ordinate with other Engineers discipline, sub- contractors for other issues and concern.
- Participate as an effective member of teams and have the ability to supervise groups of techniques.
- Initiate the commissioning, maintenance and testing of mechanical equipment.
