Welding QA/QC Inspector (Ras Laffan)

Location: Ras Laffan, Qatar

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in welding inspection, particularly in industrial or construction projects.
• AWS/CWI (Certified Welding Inspector) or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of welding processes, codes, and standards (e.g., ASME, API).
• Experience with non-destructive testing (NDT) methods (e.g., UT, RT).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections and quality control for welding processes.
• Verify compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
• Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) and visual inspections on welds.
• Prepare and review inspection reports and documentation.
• Ensure that welding procedures are followed and documented.
• Identify any non-conformities and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure quality assurance processes are met.
