PROJECT ENGINEER (O&IE)

OPERATION AND INTEGRATED ENGINEERING 

Location: Ras Laffan

Qualification

• BE or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with relevant experience in Offshore & New Build Fabrication Pro·ects i.e., Jacket, To side, Boat landin , Brown field related fabrications etc .
• Minimum 8+ years' experience in relevant position.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for handling end to end interface cordination asignments related to all aspects of offshore Fabrication (Brown & Green Field) , Industrial engineering and New building projects.
• Ensuring project executions are undertaken in accordance with client project specifications , Safety and Quality requirements , as well as the yard procedure and work instructions.
• Responsible for monitoring the progress of the project to ensure timely delivery of assignments while maintaining high HSE standards and cost effectiveness.
• Coordinate with respective trades like piping, structural, electrical etc and project manager for ensuring the work carried out is in compliance to the client specification and class requirements.
• Ensuring proper identification, selection and preparation of specifications for various technical procurements and sourcing.
• Responsible to maintain and update the client supplied engineering drawing register, maintain separate records of sample drawings issued by client and schedule for the assigned projects.
• Preparation of method statements and specific procedures in line with client requirements and ensure the timely submission of yard engineering reports and progress details to the client.
• Ensure the timely receipt of client deliverable/material etc. so as not to hamper smooth construction and highlight the requirement of critical documents in advance.
• Arrange project meetings, internal and external as necessary to ensure the effective monitoring of key project performance indicators.

Job Summary & Purpose

• Responsible for identification, planning, design and execution of engineering specifications related to structural, Electrical, Piping and commissioning system (as assigned) for offshore fabrication (Brown & Green field) , Industrial Engineering and New building projects throughout the project execution cycle for the assigned projects.
