Job Requirements
- Help monitor project costs with accurate measurement of the works delivered on a regular basis by means of actual data of costs and prices of work, labour, materials and consumables used;
- Develop a Quantity Surveying Procedure addressing units of measure, level of detail, frequency, deliverables, etc;
- Monitor drawing revisions and validate re-measures;
- Measure and support request for variations by reference to appropriate BOQs and rates;
- Work closely with CLIENT to ensure variations are prepared promptly;
- Monitor progress of the work by interfacing with Projects Team and Client QS & QA/QC Department;
- Handle Non Conformities Report (NCR) and Complaints raised by Client;
- Provide quantity surveying support for progress/ interim payment applications, post-contract cost control and final accounts;
- Forecast quantities to determine estimated final cost of measured work and quantity growth;
- Assist Project Manager to calculate and validate Value of Work Done (VOWD);
- Ensure measurement data is properly conducted, documented, and stored, in both hard and soft copies
- Prepare reports for Project Management and other Project groups as required.
- Expect 50% time on Office works and 50% on Site QS works.
