Job Role: Project Manager (Soft Services) LOCAL HIRE
JOB DESCRIPTION:
· Assist the division manager and update in all phases and aspects of the Project / Meeting minutes / Site visits / RFQ’s / Tenders.
· Manage day-to-day activities related to housekeeping, hazardous/non-hazardous waste management deliveries in order to ensure provision of timely, efficient and satisfactory services.
· Planning, organizing and directing team members to ensure successful deliveries.
· Responsible for Project Mobilisation / Demobilisations in advance and submit for Divisions Manager’s Approval.
· Responsible to visit assigned Project Locations and meet Clients for feedback.
· Review and confirm services schedules before implementation.
· Continuously reviews contract’s scope of services and plans to ensure successful execution/delivery.
· Responsible to attend Client meetings & taking meeting minutes.
· Conducts training to explain policies and work procedure.
· Contribute in the project/s annual budget development, monitor the budget performance to ensure actual expenditure.
· Receives feedback from clients regarding service standards and implements corrective plans.
· Oversees random inspections of all facilities and sites to ensure that cleaning activities and other services are performed as planned as well as agreed cleanliness standards being met.
· Prepares Monthly Reports (Project Progress Report /Activity Report/Activity Plan / Financial Reports)
· Manages 24/7 services to meet the needs and satisfaction of the client
· Manage re-ordering and maintain housekeeping supplies and inventory.
· Ensures the proper maintenance of all equipment; makes arrangements for repair or replacement of damaged equipment.
· Determines and maintains the department work schedule used to notify staff of upcoming events.
· Investigate customer complaints regarding service and initiate corrective actions.
· Checks duty roster and timesheets
Information
Desired Skills & Experience
- Relevant Professional Memberships is an added advantage.
- 8-10 years in Facility Management Services ( Soft Services) including management/supervisory level or related experience of which a minimum of 7 years should be in a services managerial position and/or team leading role, preferably in a similar industry.
