Our company is currently looking to hire a FILIPINO CALIBRATION ENGINEER/TECHNICIAN having at least 2 years of experience in the same field of work, and with the following qualifications:

Job Description

- Calibration technicians maintain, test and repair a variety of instrumentation and equipment. Calibration technician’s primary job is to make sure that instruments and testing devices are calibrated correctly and give accurate readings

- Calibration technicians work with a variety of sophisticated machinery, including analytical and electronic measuring devices, recording and indicating instruments, and electrical, mechanical and electromechanical equipment. Calibration technicians may work in heavy manufacturing environments, where Calibration technicians are subject to loud noise and other workplace hazards

Required Educational Background

- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronic Engineering

- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Certificate

- Technical schools training courses

Required Skills

- Must have good communication skills in English, both oral and written

- Must have good vision, math skills and sharp eye-hand coordination

- Must be able to analyze and interpret data and other information in order to complete calibration procedures

Job Duties

The tasks of a calibration technician vary, but mostly include:

- Calibrating instruments and troubleshooting, installing

- Working closely with electrical apparatuses and should also have knowledge of electricity and circuitry

- Setting up laboratory and testing equipment

- A calibration technician may also be responsible for working with vendors and ordering the necessary parts for a repair
