Reducing accommodation benefits of employees

For the past previous months, our current employer is paying 3,000QR to our accommodation but reduced to 2,000QR this month due to misunderstanding between our principal flat lessee and our current employer (our employer is 19days delayed in payment of our rental last month). We (2 employees) we're forced to assume the QR1,000.00 Is this legal? Any other options we have to take excluding to be forced to assume it?
