Ramadan Iftar Drive-1

Hello everyone, just came back from the QL Iftar drive, my first such experience.

Today (Friday) evening was packing day. I reached a little late and the fun had already begun by the time. It was fun to watch people pull each other’s legs and crack jokes, but easily doing the job at hand. I thought you might all enjoy seeing our beloved QLers in Iftar-packing action.

Ramadan Iftar Drive-3

These guys and girls seriously rock. Hats off, buddies. I have deliberately NOT mentioned any names here, at their abject request. They are planning to distribute these packets on Sunday. Why don’t you get in touch with Speed OR Smoke if you are interested in volunteering to distribute them? It’d be a great gesture from your part.

Greek... Great pics.... Yes you are right, we packed around 1100 - 1200 pack finally. We got around 60 big bags and each bag contains 20 - 30 'Iftar Pack' in it.

Tomorrow I will be able to tell you the exact amount of packet we packed today.

In the end we had Pizza Party in the office, some of the Volunteers missed the Pizza party since they left :-( I know it was too late for you guys but really without you all it was impossible to finish the packing job in just few hours.

Sunday we are going to distribute the 'Iftar Packs' on the Airport signals. We need 30 Volunteers on the Distribution day. PITSTOP will post the details of 'Distribution Day'.

Please CONFIRM your names so that we are sure we have exact number of Volunteer on board.

We will put up a Vote of Thanks note to all involved in Donating iftar items/Packing/Transportation/Office space for packing etc... later after the distribution over.

God Bless You All

The intial aim was 500 packets. I couldn't stay the full time and had to leave around 12. We had already packed 600 packets when the dates ran out.

When I left, they were still waiting for the dates to arrive and there were at least another 300 packets to go.

I can say, with a fair amount of surety, that this Iftar drive was a rollicking, bushwhacking success.

Hip hip hooray.
