Anime Mania!

With the Ajyal Film Festival fast approaching, DFI has been sending anime dressed like characters all over Doha to gear up interest for the festival.

Many popular characters were included in this mass anime attraction including Princess Zelda from Nintendo, Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy VII and Howl from Hayao Miyazaki's popular film Howl's Moving Castle. This is the first Ajyal Film Festival, and the theme for this year is anime.

The festival will show an "Otaku" exhibition and other galleries that will have anime and manga related artists and clubs.

This focus on Japanese anime is aimed to create and interest of cinema culture amongst the younger generation.

The Ajyal Film Festival is happening from November 26th-30th.
