What the "h..." he's thinking????

I was driving to work this morning, and slowing down toward the red signal between the family food center and airport (C-RIng Road), when this "****" guy with his 4 wheelers trying to cut me off. His lane supposed to go direct to airport. But he was trying to cut my lane from my LEFT SIDE AND HONKING me sooo LOUD till I jumped my heart out!

For few second, my heart was pounding so heart mixed with shock and angry. Why should he honk me, while he's the one who's doing mistake???

After all, he then cut other people's lane to my right and stop next to my car, and showing me a very rude face!

Oh okay, I am not a weak women, we were yelling at each other (behind closed windows!) he's so confidence that's what he did was just fine and thinking that could NOT coz an accident.

I saw this incident almost everyday in this traffic signal, where motorist from "the lane directed straight to airport" cutting off the correct lane to cross towards the airport road. This is very dangerous but people keep doing this everyday! and I never see any police check on this junction! Those law breakers should be punished!

I am so fed up but I have no choice except drive through this road everyday to work and watching insane motorist driving dangerously.

So, tell me QL-ers, where can I complain about this where traffic police could pay attention?

So the next time when you find them driving in Jakarta, do give them a cut in front to see what is their response

... do you see using the indicators, with the drivers )policemen) wearing their seatbelts, keeping to their lanes, indicating off roundabouts and keeping in their lanes on roundabouts too... (I could go on and on, but I am sure you can see the point here?)

Medan,

Also in your country, I noticed when I was there, that people are generally less aggressive and generally more respectful ;)

Thanks for all your supports QL-ers,

I thought by being a good driver and following all the rules I will be safe. Lucky me, I was driving alone, I always concern whenever I have to drive with my 2 young boys.

To : Allinux, I am not from Qatar, I am from Indonesia.

In my country, the traffic police is everywhere at every corner of the road. So all the motorist not easily escaping from any misbehaviour.

I am rarely see the qatari police do the spot check in doha streets ?? I thought they should do it as well.

Another option is to stick in your car’s rear window the following sign:

ALLAH IS WATCHING YOU!

They might feel guilty and reconsider before inflicting their abuse on others

Dear medan,

This is Qatar style of driving. Idiots rules the road with big 4 wheel drives. They are allowed to do everything! No complaints will help to stop this bad practice. If there is an accident they will take action. Near miss..Nooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

I agree Soniya that be calm and forget what happened...

You are absolutely right and these guys are typical abusers drivers seen daily in the roads of Qatar.

The worse is that police doesn't give a damn and even they often drive that way when off duty.

Sadly, this is Qatar!

visit their website and see if there is an option to lodge a complaint giving the plate numbers of the cars.

Sorry to hear abour that. This kind of misbehaviour on the road has been discussed quite frequently on QL before and by looking at all comments ending up quite racist in nature. Lets just be prepared to accept the fact that some people are immune to the law regardless of what happens, and so life moves on.

To drive and to see the drivers in QATAR are the two most freaked out cases here..LOLZZ..This happens almost with everyone out here..Kindly search and u will get plenty of posts regarding DRIVING/MOTORIST ISSUE on QL..I don't think the problem can be sort out just by spitting out the frustration here..Be calm and forget what happened..
